“I highly recommend Ms. René Britton for any job for which she is applying if the job requires that the employee displays initiative, has outstanding organizational skills, and is able to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines. During her employment with the Hickam Services Squadron Marketing and Publicity Office, she demonstrated these skills and traits many times. Ms. Britton worked on both large and small projects, from designing, implementing and maintaining our web page, creating logos, designing fliers, booklets and brochures, gathering information and coordinating the publication of our quarterly class guide, troubleshooting computer problems, updating information on the commander’s access channel and even painting coconuts! (Be sure to ask her about that one.) No task was too big or too small for her. She uses common sense, is very detail-oriented, and whatever job was assigned to her, she accomplished it with accuracy efficiency. Ms. Britton was also responsible for training her replacement when she was promoted from Graphic Designer to Webmaster, and then again when leaving her position as Webmaster because of her move back to the Mainland. She kept the position continuity folders up-to-date and I always felt confident that her replacement would be properly trained and the training would be thorough. Ms Britton’s professional appearance and positive attitude were great assets to the Hickam Services Squadron.”
